BIOGRAPHY
EVITA TETEROVSKA is an internationally active professional soprano, renowned for her captivating stage presence and exquisite voice. She combines a beautiful vocal quality with a refined, intelligent, and charismatic stage personality. Her current vocal mentor is Professor and internationally acclaimed soprano Maija Kovaļevska.
Her operatic repertoire includes roles such as Liu (Turandot), First Lady (The Magic Flute), Manon (Manon), Rusalka (Rusalka), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Micaëla (Carmen), and Marguerite (Faust).
In January 2026, she participated in the concert performance “Songs Remembered by the Heart”, featuring the music of Maestro Raimonds Pauls (world premiere). This mono-performance presents a personal story about love for music and the dream of stage brilliance, expressed through melodies from Maestro Raimonds Pauls’ golden repertoire. The accompanying ensemble was led by pianist Matīss Žilinskis, with stage direction by Mārtiņš Kagainis.
She holds a Master’s degree in Music (Opera Singing) from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music and an Artist Diploma in Opera Performance from Montclair State University (USA).
Evita has performed internationally across Europe and the United States, including a notable appearance at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Her professional experience includes engagements with the Latvian National Opera and Ballet, National Opera Center (Opera America), Matador Opera Studio, Di Capo Theater, Manhattan Opera Studio, Conservatoire de Luxembourg, Royal Northern College of Music (UK), and other prestigious venues.
She has performed for the Latvian Embassies in the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as for the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Latvia to the United Nations.
